Mike Jensen CEO
Over the last 25 years, Mike Jensen has helped media agencies and brand clients find their footing and chart a path to success and advertising ROI across numerous digital media opportunities and formats.
Starting in the late 1990s while at AOL, Mike was among the first group of media sellers to bring digital opportunities to local and regional advertisers. His digital media experience grew to include national brands and agencies while serving in sales leadership positions at the Wall Street Journal and Tribune Media.
After helping to drive the growth of digital advertising formats like banner, search, video and mobile, Mike moved into podcasting in 2013, helping to launch Stitcher’s (later acquired by SiriusXM) initial podcast advertising efforts. He joined iHeartMedia in 2017 in a management role overseeing the launch of sponsorship and monetization strategy for the iHeart Podcast Network - resulting in the massive growth of the iHeart’s pod network. Mike joined Kast Media in 2019, overseeing all sponsorship revenue as Chief Business Officer. He continued to see success as a growth driver, with Kast quickly becoming one of the largest independent podcast networks, growing from scratch to over $17 Million in less than four years.
In 2023, Mike founded Rhapsody Voices with the focus and commitment to creating win-win opportunities in the Podcasting marketplace - zealously represent shows while staying committed to identifying and developing strong advertising and sponsorship opportunities that truly produce results for agencies & brands. The term “voices” is deliberately part of the company brand as the host-read endorsement has historically been one of the most effective placements available across media.
